THIS new monthly workshop for fact or fiction has been devised to expand your writing skills. This course will include:

   • six 2.5 hour writing sessions
   • techniques to start writing or develop work-in-progress
   • a chance to initiate pieces that lead to more extended works of prose or poetry
   • the opportunity to have writing produced in the workshop read and discussed (voluntary)

The workshop will be conducted in a friendly, constructive atmosphere and is open to anyone with a desire to write, from beginners to experienced writers. Each session is self-contained so you won't be behind if you are unable to attend all the workshops.

COURSE DATES | WEDNESDAYS

2010: 6 October, 3 November, 1 December. 2011: 12 January, 2 February, 9 March. If there is interest, there will be an optional seventh session in April which will showcase class members' work.

COURSE FEE • £40

The tutition fee is £100 per person for 6 sessions. Chambers and Partners has generously underwriten 60% of the course fee.

DROP-IN PARTICIPANTS
If you are unable to do the whole course or would like to try it, you can attend on a drop-in basis, pre-paid one week in advance. The cost per session is £12. Please email or phone the Course Coordinator beforehand to ensure a place will be available. As places are limited, priority will be given to those enroling for the entire course.

CLASS SIZE

The workshops will be limited to 20 students. Iit will be necessary to pre-book to ensure your place.
