Cost: £120 for 6 months' tuition. £20 for introductory session on 15 October. Drop in: £25 per session

THIS new monthly workshop for fact or fiction has been devised to expand your writing skills. This course will include:

   • six 2.5 hour writing sessions
   • techniques to start writing or develop work-in-progress
   • a chance to initiate pieces that lead to more extended works of prose or poetry
   • the opportunity to have writing produced in the workshop read and discussed (voluntary)

The workshop will be conducted in a friendly, constructive atmosphere and is open to anyone with a desire to write, from beginners to experienced writers.

COURSE DATES | WEDNESDAYS

2008: 15 October, 11 November, 10 December. 2009: 14 January, 11 February, 18 March. There will be the possibility of an additional session in April to showchase class members' work.

INTRODUCTORY SESSION • £20
On 15 October there will be an introductory session for £20, giving you the opportunity to see if this short course is for you.

COURSE FEE • £120

If you want to book for the whole 6 months, inclusive of the introductory session, the fee is £120. If you are only booking for Session 1, it must be paid for by 8 October. Places are limited so to ensure your place, you should pre-book.

DROP-IN PARTICIPANTS
If you are unable to do the whole course or would like to try it, you can attend on a drop-in basis, pre-paid one month in advance. The cost per session is £25, excluding the introductory session on 10 October. Please email or phone the Course Organiser beforehand to ensure a place will be available. As places are limited, priority will be given to those enroling for the entire course.
