COURSES @ LA TORRE DE DALT
1. A deposit of £350 is due for each course participant. Booking will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit.
2. Course members who wish to receive the reduced fee of £754 must pay the deposit by 14 February.
Bookings taken after that time will be charged at the full price of £795. At either price, the full amount is
due two calendar months before the start of the course.
3. If a booking is made less than two calendar months before the start of the course, the full amount must be
paid at the time of enrolment.
4. If you wish to cancel, you must inform the Administrator by email or letter (Creative Writing Courses,
46 Beversbrook Road, London N19 4QH, UK). The following cancellation policy applies in all cases:
a) Notice of cancellation received between course date and 42 days (6 weeks) prior to course date, no
refund
b) Notice of cancellation received between 43 days and 70 days (10 weeks) prior to course date, 50% of
any fees paid or the deposit, whichever is the greater, will be refunded
c) Notice of cancellation received 71 days or more prior to course date, both deposit and any fees paid
refunded
5. Any participant who cancels, but finds a replacement, may transfer their booking without penalty, but must
take all responsibility for the financial arrangements connected with such a transfer.
6. Students are responsible for obtaining any visas or other travel documents necessary to enter Spain. CWC
cannot be held responsible any student's failure to do so. Students are also responsible for obtaining the
necessary travel documents for any country where they may have to transfer flights.
7. Return travel from your point of departure to/from Spain is not included and is the sole responsibility of the
participant.
8. Ground travel within Spain is the responsibility of the course participant.
9. Rates include full board at the La Torre de Dalt for 6 days to include breakfast, light lunch and three-course
dinner. Please note that, for the seven-day course, only breakfast will be served on Wednesday (cook's
night off).
10. Drinks are not included and must be paid for directly to 7 Day Wonder.
11. The course organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or expense sustained by course
participants or their companions as a result of any event or circumstance whether arising from natural
cause or human agency beyond CWC's control.
12. At La Torre de Dalt, each course participant is responsible for any loss or damage to fixtures and fittings or
property that he/she may cause.
13. In the event that the course tutor is not available, a replacement tutor of similar calibre will be provided.
14. CWC reserves the right to cancel a course if exceptionally low enrolment makes the course unviable. In
the event a cancellation occurs, a full refund of money paid will be made to all applicants.
15. Participants are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance.
