THIS new monthly workshop for fact or fiction has been devised to expand your writing skills. This course will include:
• six 2.5 hour writing sessions
• techniques to start writing or develop work-in-progress
• a chance to initiate pieces that lead to more extended works of prose or poetry
• the opportunity to have writing produced in the workshop read and discussed (voluntary)
The workshop will be conducted in a friendly, constructive atmosphere and is open to anyone with a desire to write, from beginners to experienced writers. Each session is self-contained so you won't be behind if you are unable to attend all the workshops.

OPEN MIC NIGHT | 24 APRIL
Our last session in April will showcase class members' work. This additional session is scheduled for 24 April. This is in addition to the course and the fee is £30. Students need to pre-pay to ensure their place. Please email course organiser, Alison Martin-Campbell, for details.
INTRODUCTORY SESSION • £25
On 17 October there will be an introductory session for the reduced price of £25, giving you the opportunity to see if this short course is for you.
ROOM VENUE
The room will be held at MLP.
COURSE FEE • £150
If you want to book for the whole 6 months, inclusive of the introductory session, the fee is £150. If you are only booking for Session 1, it must be paid for by 5 October. Places are limited so to ensure your place, you should pre-book.
SPECIAL REDUCED RATE FOR NEW STUDENTS
If you cannot attend Session 1 and want to book for the remaining 5 workshops, you can enrol for the reduced rate of £125.
DROP-IN PARTICIPANTS
If you are unable to do the whole course or would like to try it, you can attend on a drop-in basis, pre-paid one month in advance. The cost per session for Months 2 - 6 is £30. Please email or phone the Course Organiser beforehand to ensure a place will be available. As places are limited, priority will be given to those enroling for the entire course.
